Today is Chopin's 200th birthday, and to celebrate, 200 hours of his beautiful music will be playing all week on 5 pianos at the World Financial Center. It's open to the public to play in the morning too (if only I could play still!). I enjoy classical piano so so much. I will likely stop by later this week in the afternoon, if anyone wants to join!
WEEKLONG BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

The festival features 200 hours of the composer’s works performed on five pianos by an eclectic line-up of pianists, including NPR From the Top host Christopher O’Riley; Eduardus Halim (substituting for Claire Huangci); Kimball Gallagher; Vassily Primakov; Jeffrey Swann and the winner of the Chopin Competition in Miami (held the last week of February).
