Just wanted to confirm the 88-cent manicure!
I went early, so there was no crowd, but it was getting busy as I left.

NYRewind: 3/23 - B+J's Coffee^2 Buzz^3!

What flavor did you get?  I always get the same one each time, Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz!  What's nice (and smart) is that this year they posted a menu outside so it makes the ordering more efficient.  I went to the Rockefeller Ctr store, and there was a line, but it was well managed and went by pretty fast.

Get your free Ben+Jerry's ice cream today until 8p!  There is a donation bucket where you can drop off some $ for local charities too.  Enjoy!

NYRewind: Baohaus Food Network Screening @ Essex

Last night, Jen S., Alex, and I went to support our old loveboat friends Eddie and Ning's NY restaurant Baohaus, which serves DELICIOUS Taiwanese gua baos in LES, at the screening of their episode of Food Network "Ultimate Recipe Showdown" (screening took place @ Essex).

The food speaks for itself: the meat is so well cooked, juicy, and topped w/ all my faves (crushed peanuts + the green stuff too!!).  I had the beef and pork bao - really yummy!  Twinkies w/ tofu cream cheese filling were also served.  Definitely will be going back, and you need to try it asap too!

Congrats to Eddie and Ning, so happy for all of your success so far, and I know it will keep getting better from here!

3/23 - Free Pastry Day @ Starbucks

Thanks to everyone who fwded the info about Starbuck's Free Pastry Day tomorrow!

I personally don't frequent Starbucks much and wouldn't go out of my way to get this freebie (like I do for others, hehe), so that's why I haven't posted about it, but a freebie is a freebie, so enjoy if you happen to grab a coffee on your way to work!

Get a free pastry on the morning of March 23 with the purchase of a handcrafted beverage.

To get your free pastry, print out the coupon below and present it to your barista. Or simply show them the coupon on any mobile device. But Free Pastry Day ends at 10:30 a.m. – so don’t miss out!

Get your coupon to redeem it HERE.

Ladies Only: Free Screening of "The Back-Up Plan" 3/25 @ 3p

NYCMovieScreenings is calling for females btwn 18-35 to a private screening of The Back-Up Plan this Thurs 3/25 @ 3p, ft. Jennifer Lopez and Alex O'Loughlin.  It's a romantic comedy, so this screening is likely a test to see how we like it, before it comes out on April 23.

We are looking for FEMALES 18-35 to attend a very special private screening room screening of THE BACK-UP PLAN this Thursday at 3pm. List only screening - no wait in line. We can not do "plus one" for this event. If you have friends who are avail and interested have them contact us as well. Email nycmoviescreenings at gmail dot com with your name, date of birth and contact number.

If you're free this Thurs, email nycmoviescreenings@gmail.com with your name, DOB, and #!  I put my name on the list, so let me know and we can meet there!  The screening will take place in midtown.
