NYRewind: Free Flatbread from Jamba Juice 11/17

Just got back from getting my free CA flatbread from Jamba Juice!  I work right around the 53rd St and Lex store, so I stopped by right at 2p, hoping there wouldn't be a line - and there wasn't (for a free food event, it was nothing, maybe 10 min tops: ).

What did I think?  Pretty good for free.  It was light, somewhat fillling (for me, but I'm a small person: ), so probably more like a big chip for everyone else, but I don't think I'd pay for it, because it's a little more than what is worth to me.  But the prickly pear sample I might get again.  In any case, best if you go and get one now!

First 150 people until 5p today.  Midtown location (53rd and Lex) is quick, so head over!

Tuesday Fun: Food and More!

1. Free CA Flatbread from Jamba Juice: 2-5p
Be one of the first 150 people to stop by your local Jamba Juice to get your free California Flatbread, 2-5p!  There are 4 flavors: Tomo Artichoko, Four Cheesy, Smokehouse Chicken or MediterraneYUM - delicious!  I need 3 other people to come with me so we can try all of the flavors hehehe.  I have a buy 1 get 1 coupon too...: )

  • NOTE: not all of the stores are participating, so check the website or NYC Recessionary Diary, who called and confirmed some locations around Midtown, thanks!
Will update after I go!  [Thanks to CouponCravings.com for the tip]

NYRewind: Sat 11/14 Fun!

Saturday fun:
  • Karrie, Cameron, and Tammy came with me to the City Bakery/Bottlerocket Thanksgiving Workshop, featuring 10 wines and Thanksgiving bites (turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, butternut squash, brussel sprouts, pumpkin pie!).  Had a great time tasting the different wines and trying to get more flavor out of our food with the wine...but we couldn't really tell haha.  It was good, that's all that's important.

  • Afterwards, we went to the Union Square Green Market in the search for Pear Cider!  I jumped the gun early and bought apple cider first...only to find the pear cider at the booth after!  Rats! hehe, but it was still good.  I love getting a cup whenever I'm in the area.

  • Lastly, we stopped by the new apple store on 67th and Broadway to check it out!  It's big like a warehouse, with tall ceilings.  It's more convenient for me to go there than the other store on 5th Ave, if I ever need anything.

Nice weekend!
